super hero sturdy!, February 10, 2012 By This review is from: Keep Unisex Benten Boat Shoe (Apparel) i already liked my keep boat shoes (purchased in black about a year ago in nyc), but since yesterday i love them! a cab ran over my foot while wearing them and they held up like a champ. the rubber siding was so sturdy that, while pinned (the driver halted movement right on top of my foot) i was able to wiggle my foot out of the shoe while the rubber held the weight of the car. my foot is ok-ish and the shoes still look pretty much the same. amazing.
