than I expected as far as overall look . They look a little inexpensive which wouldn't bother me for the price is great
and the strap is so cool. What is the problem however is it is tight all round. I am a true 7.5 and they were almost impossible to get on and than
it was eveident that I needed to size up at least a half size. I am returning them regretfully and I think I will wait until I can try them on in a shop. I always buy shoes online.

One-of-kind bootie, January 10, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Restricted Women's Squad Bootie (Apparel) After reading another review which suggested that a buyer order 1/2 size larger due to the narrow fit and difficulty pulling the booties on, I followed their advice. They were absolutely correct. Only the narrowest of feet and lowest of arch should order their proper size.
With that said, this is a lovely boot. The detailing is quite unique and not overly fussy. It is surprisingly comfortable with some cushioning in the sole. The leather has a nice look to it--like an old leather. My only concern is that the heel slides on smooth surfaces. (tile, hardwood flooring, linoleum...) I will replace the tip of the heel with something that has a bit more "tooth" on it.
